Rock crushes Scissor, Scissors cut Paper, Paper suffocates rock...
subhan Allah.
(Preface: Rabbi is one of my dear friends from freshmen year - pronounced RAB-BEE, not like jewish rabbi)

so it all starts out while we're eating and Rabbi goes, Haroon what're u up to? And i tell him i have class in half an hour. Now Rabbi just came from an exam of which he got little sleep over, so he's pretty much down to relax a little. So he goes ... how about we do rock paper scissor and if i (me, Haroon) win, rabbi will come to class with me. We do rock paper, best out of 3 and i win. So now he has to come and sit in an hour and twenty minute class with me, mind you it's pretty much the most boring class ever. He's trying to find a way out of his committement so we do rock paper again, best out of 5, but this time if he wins, he gets to skip out on going to class, but if i win, he has to come to class and also treat me to dinner. I'm thinking, hey i can pay for my own dinner so forget it, but then he makes it more interesting and says that he'll pay for my chicken guy (implying that he'll also drive to chicken guy), an offer i can't refuse and so we do a best out of 5. It was pretty close, came down to a 2 - 2. Finally though i whoopped out the scissor and the poor guy pulled out a paper and as we all know scissors cuts the crap out of paper and i won. Now just to put all this in context for you all - the chicken guy is located in manhattan and we're all the way out in long island, i think its about 60 miles (about 2 hours driving @ speed limit w/ nyc traffic), also on top of that we're nearing the end of the semester and we're both graduating (insha Allah). And out of the blue, on a tuesday night, a school night, with finals week approaching and with tons of work to do, we venture out to the city. But alhamdulillah we go there and come back w/ teh food with a pit stop in 3 hours! =)

The chicken guy was so worth the trip and it was definetely cool bonding w/ rabbi, i've known him since freshmen year and masha Allah love him a lot, he's a really great guy with a beautiful heart =)
