Babies are cool
Went out to see my “niece” and “nephew’s” baby shower today. Babies are cool as long as they are not yours. Neither my shirt nor pants were spared baby vomit. The chocolate covered strawberries made up for that.
During feeding and chatting, I was pleased to meet a large number of Marie’s relatives. Many of them reminded me of my own, which made the situation easier and more relaxed. I’m quite glad that we got to see everyone else. It gives me a face to put with all the names.
Alas, even for all the family events, it is another evening alone.
*sigh* I should probably change the mood...
