Now that I'm awake, I should get some food.
I love Saturdays. Except when I think they're Sundays. I turned to ESPN hoping to hear some news from the NFL, instead, I wake to the sounds of Iowa getting their asses beat by Ohio State. I can't believe I'm somehow developing an affinity for Notre Dame football. I used to hate them like I hated the Dallas Cowboys or the Chicago Bulls. They were always good (this was back during the late '80s and early '90s), and everyone seemed to like them. I always assumed that most of their fans were bandwagon fans, and it showed when Notre Dame started sucking. Far fewer people were openly supporting them.
Nevertheless, this year seems to be the "third day" on which Touchdown Jesus will be resurrected and lead all of his followers to the promised land of college football. Of course, they still have to play USC. It makes me feel ashamed because I feel like a bandwagon fan myself now. It's not like they'll ever overtake Iowa or UNI in terms of favorites, but the coldness in my heart for them seems to be warming up.
I honestly don't know why I'm talking about this. It just seems that my bloggings as of late have been less content based. There hasn't been much of "what's on my mind?" postings. So, there you have it. A random clipping from my brain.
