Admin: Transfers, Waitlist, Hotel Cancellation
Three weeks from this VERY moment we'll be kicking off the Jamboree with our welcome and the first set of kickass panels. My brain is permanently set on "EEEEE!"
So! I wanted to remind everyone that the last day to transfer your registration to another person is Saturday, March 21st, i.e, one week from tomorrow. We still have a good number of folks on our waitlist who want to come to MJ09. If you know that you can no longer attend the con (boo!) please let us (drlense at gmail dot com and brooklinegirl at rcn dot com) know as soon as possible. If you do NOT have a person in mind to transfer your membership, include that in your email and we'll facilitate the transfer between you and the next person on the waitlist.
If you are on the waitlist and can no longer come if a spot opens up for you, can you please take a second and add a comment below your waitlist comment letting us know? This will help speed up the transfer process for us and you.
Finally, since we're on the unpleasant subject of cancellations, please remember that you must cancel your hotel reservation no later than Tuesday, March 31st or you will be charged for one night's stay. Our roommate finder post is still active.
