Admin Post: update!
We are delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response to the Muskrat Jamboree! I wanted to give you all an overview of the registration process, so you can be prepared!
Registration Begins:
- Saturday, January 6th, 9 AM Eastern Standard Time: brooklinegirl will make a post to muskratjamboree entitled REGISTRATION NOW OPEN.
Types of Membership:
- Full, $45: admittance to all official Jamboree Events, including the Friday night Reception at NightGames. Also the packet, program, and all Jamboree goodies.
- Supporting, $10: this is for those of you who cannot attend. You get the packet, the program, and all the Jamboree goodies mailed directly to your door!
How Does It Work:
The comments on that post will be LOCKED. NO ONE will be able to see your responses besides the moderators.
If you cannot be online to register that morning, you may have someone register for you. We MUST have a valid email address for you, and all rules still apply. If someone else registers for you, we will require that you send us an age statement in response to our confirmation email.
You may register for yourself and/or ONE OTHER PERSON. This is to (hopefully) offset any concern from people who absolutely cannot be online to register at that time.
Again: you may ONLY register for:
- yourself;
- yourself and ONE OTHER PERSON; or
- ONE OTHER PERSON only.
The information you will NEED to provide us in your comment in order to be registered:
-Your name (and/or the name of the person for whom you are registering)
- Name you would like on your badge (for EACH PERSON being registered)
- a VALID email address (for EACH PERSON being registered)
- the Type of Membership for which you are registering: Full ($45.00) or Supporting ($10.00)
- the method of payment you are intending to use: PayPal (preferred ), Check (US Dollars only), Money Order (US Dollars only)
- Age Statement stating: I certify that I am 18 years or older.
You will get a CONFIRMATION email stating that you are registered, pending payment.
Important:
Attendance is limited to the first 100 people who register. I will do a post when the slots are filled. We must receive payment from you within SEVEN DAYS of registration. If we do not receive payment, your membership will be dropped and we will offer it to the next person in line, if there is still anyone wishing to register.
To Pay:
PAYPAL (preferred):
- You may use PayPal to send your registration fee to brooklinegirl@rcn.com. Your subject line needs to have Muskrat Jamboree and your badge name in it.
-If you want to sign up for a supporting membership, your subject line must have Muskrat Jamboree Supporter and your badge name in it, and you will need to provide me with an address to which to ship your packet. You may register for supporting memberships up until February 15th, 2007.
CHECK OR MONEY ORDER:
- You may mail a check or money order in US dollars to me. If you indicate that you intend to pay via check or money order, your initial confirmation email will have my name and mailing address for you. You may use this option for supporting memberships, as well.
Once we receive your payment, you will get a FINAL CONFIRMATION email stating that you are a FULLY REGISTERED Muskrat Jamboree Attendee (and won't that make you proud!).
