Muskrat Scholarships!
The MJ con comm has received offers from three fabulous, generous souls to each fund a MUSKRAT SCHOLARSHIP.
All three prefer to remain anonymous - two have donated to create what they are calling the Ray Vecchio Memorial Scholarship, and one prefers to be known simply as A. Muskrat! Each have offered to fund a MUSKRAT SCHOLARSHIP, to pay for the membership fee of someone who would like to attend MJ but who is unable to afford to pay for the membership.
If you are eighteen years old or older, and would like to come to Muskrat Jamboree 2015 but do not quite have the funds to pay for the registration fee, please send an email to muskratjamboree@gmail.com with the subject line "Yes, I would like to go to MJ2015!" and include your username (be it your LJ, twitter, tumblr, AO3, your real name, whathaveyou) and your age statement (I certify that I am 18 years or older. or I certify that I am 21 years or older.) in the body of the email.
The MJ con comm will choose three recipients in a randomized fashion, by drawing the names from a kicky hat. The three scholarship recipients will each have their registration fee covered by the scholarships - we'll just need you to email us your real life name for registration purposes, and you will be a fully registered MJ2015 attendee!

Please note: these scholarships cover only the cost of the registration fee. Hotel, travel, and any other costs are not covered.
If you are interested in applying, the deadline to apply is October 25, 2014. The three scholarship recipients will be announced on October 26th.
