Woo, *waves* at anyone that said hi to my last post :)
I'm fine thanks. I believe that my exam results are out on Monday, and I don't think I've done that well, but oh well. Trying not to think about it. Unfortunately, every time I learn something new it pushes some of the old stuff out of my brain.
Paris was good. We were only there 3 days including travel (which isn't all that much on eurostar) so just did the touristy bits really - monuments, museums, etc. It was kinda overcast but not too cold, fine for walking about. Though the views from the high bits were a bit obscured by the haze. We didn't go up the Eiffel Tower for that reason. Well, that and there was a 2 hour queue, there were a number of other high up places to see the view from, and our travel ticket didn't cover it so we'd have to pay extra.
We also at some rather nice food, I quite like their restaurants. The bars are a different matter though. Most don't seem to have been cleaned, well, ever. One even had a pigeon in it!
Anyway, it's a nice place, despite the dog poo and my terrible French.
I'm off out in a few mins. Have to sort out my shoe insoles first as was hobbling everywhere by day 3.
