"We have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord"

Yep, another inauguration post.

Happy inauguration day! I was fretting all weekend long trying to figure out how I would be able to watch Obama take the oath of office when I was at work. Streaming video is verboten at work, so I had to get creative. One of my co-workers found a projection TV in a food court so tons of people huddled around to watch. And another co-worker of mine made cupcakes in honor of the inauguration!

I sat through the roadshow edition of Che last night. 4.5 hours. I liked The Argentine better than Guerilla, but I'm sure my overall enjoyment of the film increased due to my love of Benicio del Toro. Even though you know how everything ends, it's still a huge downer. Still need to see Frost/Nixon, The Wrestler, and Revolutionary Road but then I should be good to go for the Oscars.

Tonight I'm going to see Adele at the Fitzgerald Theater. Bonus: it's sold out and I'm getting in for free!

And I start classes at St. Thomas next month. I keep thinking to myself, "what have I gotten myself into?" but overall I'm still excited about getting started. I still have a few details to sort out, but I'm sure everything will eventually fall into place.
