#477: C'est la vie

[I've been pondering for a very long time if I should make this Friends Only. I'm just wondering if this little blog in the mega-space of the internet is ever read by anyone. And if it isn't, I guess it'll be friends only. Very soon. :)]

I've been reading (and finished) The Luminous Life of Lilly Aphrodite by Beatrix Collins.(Read the excerpt here.) It was so vivid, I had a nightmare and a restless sleep. But maybe that's just me because I've been having constant nightmares for the past few nights, waking up and tossing about. I don't know where my nightmares have been coming from, but they are making me lose precious sleep (not good) and giving me serious eye-bags (ugly). Argh. Any help here?! I'm starting on My Name Is Red by Orhan Pamuk. (Read the wiki entry here.) Its deep, and the kind of book where you've to read and re-read a sentence to understand stuff (or maybe I'm just thick. hehe). It has been good so far.

Met up with Yang-Shen and his brother today. Breakfast/Brunch at Patisserie Valerie after which, vigorous walking up and down Gower Street. Hehe, first down to British Museum (one of my favourite places in London) and then up to UCL (my 2nd home here I guess). We're off to watch The Lion King later. :)

But for now, to do some stocking up of our fridge (food for the rigourous revision coming up!).

update, london
