Easter is often looked at as a day of renewal, rebirth and an ending to the new beginning or new journey. Throughout these forty days of lent we ventured out on a journey whether it was giving up something or adding something new into our lives. For me personally it was trying to encourage the positive in life and try to incorporate happiness through every situation that I faced. It was physically and emotionally hard to do this in certain situations that I have faced during these 40 days of lent. For some people the giving up or adding something new, helps and stregthens their lives, thus creating a new person full of hope and empowerment but for some people it bring greater difficulties and strife. How has your lent been empowered? Did you face a difficulty journey?
Personally questions like this always seem to prosper in my mind of dreams, goals, and journeys that fall along the pathways of life. Easter is the rebirth of our hopes and dreams. Easter is a time when Jesus reminds us that no matter what mistakes or "sins" that happen He will forgive us. There have been points in my life when I have doubted this fact and I'm sure others have too, or are experiencing it at the moment. But there are points in my life that I have fully-heartedly believed that Christ is there by our side leading us in new directions and helping us with the problems that exist everyday.
Possibly this Easter season will bring me what I wish for the most or maybe it will bring about a change.
