Geez, it's 2007?
Well then, I guess I should do some kind of monumental update. Trouble is, in typical Caz style, I don't really remember all that much of the last year. I remember that at New Years last year I'd just got back from South Africa. That was pretty damn awesome. (I spent this New Year in Disneyland Paris btw. That was awesome too). I guess I then spent the months up until June/July time at uni finishing up my degree. I dont really remember too much about it except that it was irritating and I was never completely satisfied with the project. But I passed my degree in leet stylee and graduated so who cares.
I did a lot of lazing about between July and September. Broken slightly by a holiday to Iceland followed by Maryland USA. Good ponies they got in Iceland. Nice butterflies they got in Maryland.
September I began to feel like I should prolly get some kinda job. So I did.
This is dull! I know, I'll leave you with some leet things and people that I was introduced to and liked last year (and so far, this year too!) and that you should get to know and love this year! Here we go:
Bands: Sonata Arctica, X-Japan, EdGuy, Stratovarius
Authors: Robin Hobb, C.S. Friedman, Jude Fisher, Bernard Cornwell (I only read Lords of the North, but it was great in a basic blood and guts, dark handsome guy pwns all kinda way)
Resins: Kilimanjaro, Vertigo, Nahar, Estada, Brigitte Eberl Haflinger
People: Bon, Gam, Sarah, Jacob, Charles, Numerous Michaels and Andrews, Chloe, Alan... ah heck, I met a hell of a lot of people this year, so! Everyone I met this year and all those I knew before, you should meet them all, they rock! Including all those people in Coldfire. That was fun! Til I got a job :[
Games: World of Warcraft [it's so good see, I didnt play anything else all year!]
Programs: Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Photo Impact. And I suppose Chess on my iBook. God damn it I hate that. I've never won. Not even once.
Foods: I'm reeeeaally liking toasted ham, cheese and tomato baguettes recently. But that's Jacob's fault, and I guess that was really this year rather than last... Ho hum... oo! Root vegetable crips! I ate so many of those between October and December it's unreal! I also eat a lot of salted popcorn. Hmm, something non snacky to make me look healthy... I like... dried banana...? Ah and the garlic pepper spare ribs that Miso do... grawr...
Places: Cape Town, Rekyjavik, Goðafoss, Paris, London - I love my dad, he shows me the world!
Movies: I dont think I saw a single movie this year (as in new films shown in cinema's this year) that had me excited. Boo. Hmm, cept maybe Crash. Was that this year? I think it was... I'm told I missed out on not seeing Pan's Labyrinth and Casino Royale however. Maybe next year!
I can't think of anymore, and my WoW patch is nearly downloaded, so that'll be it for last year! For more info on my life, enquire within. Ciao ciao!
