mmm-so i haven't written in a while. first of all, i'd like to wish kim a very happy birthday.
secondly, i figured i'd update just for the hell of it. things are going really well right now and i dont think i would change a thing. i had a break through with scales the other day. i actually played Bb in rhythm and heard all the notes in fast tempos...which means that my left is articulate enough to produce those notes but relaxed enough not to have my fingers trip over one another. very exciting. bow work is getting better. still struggling with upbow staccatto. im more aware of my body while im playing. oh and the breathing thing. thats done wonders. i just have to form a regular habit with it. mmmm.
i have a very special visitor coming next week and the week after is thanksgiving break. so very excited for both of those.
i must go visit dr mayo this coming week.
ohh. playing in studio on monday and then in area the week after that. should be interesting. i want to try and see if i can play in fresh sem next week and maybe get the trio to play the week after. hmmmm. ill have to talk to laura. anyway. all is good. weeooo.
