Benihana's
I'm so nervous! In a quest to earn a little more money and be in a social environment, I applied to be an evening cashier/hostess at Benihana's. Benihana's is this awesome Japanese-ish restaurant where your table is a hot surface and the chef cooks everything in the table in front of you in a very showy way, i.e. throwing knives and carrots or whatever up in the air. Haha. They actually called me for an interview! So I'm going today and definitely scared. I've worked at a retirement home dining room, and that's the closest to restaurant experience I have. Sad, huh. Definitely not as popular and busy as this place is!! It sounds perfect though 4:30pm-9p, so I can go there right after my current job for the evening. I'm kind of looking forward to being a little busy, because I think this would be a more active job. I have to go to Jennifer's today to borrow stylish clothes since I have no idea how to look good anymore!! She has lots of restaurant experience and she's great at her job..I'm hoping it will rub off on me a little before my interview! Let's just hope against hope that I'll just kill today at this interview. Wish me luck!
