walk less, eat more...what?
So I'm back from my vacation to Atlanta, Georgia! woot!
It was fun--the family went to see a world-famous aquarium. The fish/swimmy mammals were sweet.
I also took a lot of dumb/funny pictures of my family, and of creepy things along the way, like this weird red/black horse in front of one of the hotels we stayed at.
I also learned that pull-out beds REEK.
I missed the band, but apparently the game got canceled. Eh, good in some ways, bad in others.
Jenny and I practiced pregame when at rest stops, because we're dorks--her mainly, because my back hurt half the time, but it's feeling much better now! Except whenever I try to bend over more than 45 degrees, I have to do like a jerk-bend, so it looks like I'm moving like a robot.
Not to mention Jenny and I sang a lot of mb songs, like those creepy DUH commercials for pink panther & mission impossible (duh).
We also talked about band--seniors, alumni, current freshmen, etc. The most I'll say on that is, I don't want my senior year to come. Ever.
Now I'm home. I hope I missed the sectional Rex is supposed to be holding--no offense to the altos, but I don't want to go anywhere in a car for the next few days.....I REALLY wish I could just bike to school for the football game. Whatev.
I'm posting pictures, and finally getting the band camp ones up.
Oh, and Dave Peters (David Peters? Mr. Peters? DAP?!) is weird and I never saw him at band camp after he waved to the band. AND I'M STILL CURIOUS ABOUT P.R.!
Not to mention......BLUE DEVILS KICKED SOME MAJOR BUTT AT DCI FINALS!!!! And if I remember correctly, Cadets came next, followed by Cavaliers, followed by.....Phantom Regiment? Guesses there, but I know Bluecoats came 5th.
:) And according to Chung, the Colts are making some major progress! They used to be D2, but now they've finally hopped into D1 and are doing REALLY WELL for newcomers. Woot Colts!
