89: that weekend
So yeah, I went to Cadott and got to see all sorts of family members and all that jazz, so I'm going to use the plus and minus thing to recap the whole weekend.
FRIDAY
+ got to listen to good music.
+ got to see all of my family.
+ drank lots of alcohol.
- Sue's brothers (it's her's and Robbie's house) really creep me out. They act very "special" but I don't think they are and they're in the 40's and get really obnoxious when drunk.
+ played Euchre with my aunt, ma, and step-dad and won a lot.
SATURDAY
+ got to shower right away in the morning.
+ listened to a Bluegrass Band.
- snapped at my family for something stupid.
+ talked to my step-dad about how I felt like I was an inconvenience to everyone and what not.
- ended up feeling stupid and left to lay down and sleep in a tent.
- had an emotional break-down involving all the stuff with my father. Not so much the insurance deal, but a lot of issues with how for the first 19 years of my life he practically abandoned me and now that I'm living here it's really convenientt for him to keep in touch, even though he'll make plans and never live up to them. I really don't want to deal with him anymore and my mother and I finally got to the bottom of some of the issues involved and decided that I didn't have to talk to him once the whole insurance thing was over with.
+ made up with everyone.
+ watched all my relatives get drunk and stupid.
+ hung out by the fire for most of the night.
- Got hit on by Sue's son Tommy, who also really creeps me out.
SUNDAY
- helped clean up (wasn't a bad thing, I'm just lazy).
+ visited with family more.
- had to say goodbye to everyone.
+ Sue mooned us as we were leaving. *giggles*
+ I got to drive home.
- Had to unload *ugh*
so yeah ... all and all not a bad weekend. I know you all missed me. heh.
