You Know Your Mattress Sucks When ...
01) ... you MISS the mattress provided by your college dormitory
02) ... the old vinyl couch downstairs is rather tempting
03) ... as is the old bed in the guestroom with the creaky springs
04) ... your inability to sleep has nothing to do with the noise outside
05) ... you have to move every time you're about to fall asleep because you're in unbarable pain
06) ... you're tempted to curl up in bed with your mother ... who snores
07) ... and unlike when you were 5, it has nothing to do with the creepy shadow in the corner
08) ... not only is the old couch tempting, but you move to it expecting to sleep better there
09) ... and think the room it's in might make a good bedroom
10) ... you might agree to move downstairs after all ... if it means you don't have to sleep on that thing any more
11) ... you'd rather go mattress shopping in the morning than finally get the new computer you've been obsessing over for a week
12) ... you're awake at 6am ...
13) ... you'd suggest #11 to your mother if she weren't sound asleep
And I think I'll leave it at 13, because that is an awesome number. Anyone got anything else to contribute?
