I know this has nothing to do with music back I'll bring it up anyways.
Terrell Owens, loudmouthed WR for the Dallas Cowboys, said along the lines of 'he was misquoted in his autobiography.'
Man, I hate when I misquote myself. That's just about the worst thing I could do to me. I don't think I could forgive myself if I did that to me. Could I sue myself if I really misquoted myself? T.O., I have a message for you:
http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/teapot Okay, here's the flash file rating
Bill Gates is a Teapot: You're an idiot.
Bananaphone: Send in the clowns, it's a wreck.
Another one bites the dust-hidden message: There's something weird about this one.
Numa Numa: I like it so much that I'm dancing.
TO THE REVIEW:
Songs:
"The Storm" by The Procussions: Whoa, 90's rap. Not quite like the Beastie Boys but pretty close (I'm not quite sure if that's good or not). Heheheh, I just compared them to rapping Jews.
Rating: Eh, not bad, I guess.
"Waiting on the World to Change" by John Mayer: I don't know about you guys but this sounds a bit more mainstream-sounding than what he's previously done. Other than that, it's got similarities to "Clarity" on his Heavier Things album, which is a good thing.
Rating: Good
"Love Found Me" by DecembeRadio: Kind of sounds like Jet, specifically the song "Cold Hard Bitch." It's got some good stuff to it.
Rating: Pretty Great
"Lonely Train" by Black Stone Cherry: Interesting note: at the beginning of describing this song for the Download of the Week on iTunes, it said "This isn't your grandmother's grunge." That makes me laugh since my grandma, the ultra-conservative she is, would never, EVER, listen to grunge.
Getting to the song, it's pretty good. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up on 89x in a month.
Rating: Pretty Great
I'm not a great typist. This is all really edited stuff. One of these days I'll do this unedited.
Album:
Gnarles Barkley "St. Elsewhere": Crazy? Probably. Freakin' awesome? Possibly. Am I stalling because iTunes is acting like a little bitch? No shit....
....okay it's back....No, I don't want v6.0.5....
Seriously, there are almost no words to describe this album. The genres he hits during this album are so widespread that it's hard to decipher(ooo, big words, this feels weird) what he's doing. It's still a good buy. It goes on my nice list.
