"Mother....Shitter....Son of an....Ass...."
Ahhh, that was a great movie.
It's that time again.
REVIEW:
Songs:
"Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae: This was the accoustic version but there wasn't much difference between the two. It's a good song from a good singer who deserves to be out there....or at the very least a full-length album.
Rating: Awesome
"Aqua" by Moncef Genoud: Starts slow but give it a minute; it'll get good. If you like Jazz combo music, you'll like this. If not, you might like this.
Rating: Good
"Wound Up" by Office: Don't you dare add "The" to the beginning of this. The "The" belongs at the beginning of the TV show, not the band. Now that we've got that cleared up, this is a good way to open up June. Has a constant bass drum beat, so if you don't like that then listen to something because I'm listening to this.
Rating: Awesome
"It's Your Wedding Day" from The Wedding Singer, the musical: Cheesy musical sound, but what do you expect. Other than that, it's pretty good, even though the concept of this being a musical is laughable.
Rating: Great
Album:
Andrea Bocelli's "Amore": If you like classical music...hell, if you like music you'll like this CD. Fair warning: there's basically one song in english and Kenny G appears. The english part isn't really much of a complaint. How can you complain about that when it's quality music. This album also features Christina Aquilera, Veronica Berti, and Stevie Wonder and it includes the anthem to this past olympics, "Because We Believe."
Rating: 9.5 (It would have been a perfect 10, but the album has Kenny G; Note: whenever you have Kenny G, I don't care how good you are, you're NOT getting a 10)
Finally, I think I've found a song that would be great for the GCP. It comes off the Top Gun Soundtrack. It's a reaccuring theme in the movie, especially when Maverick is with the instructor.
Berlin's "Take My Breath Away."
