Oh yeah I went to the
pitchfork festival a couple weeks ago. It was a pretty good time, or a completely awesome time for $40, depending on how you look at it.
Os Mutantes were awesome as expected; so were Yo La Tengo. Liars were actually really great too, but there were some dissapointments (Mountain Goats, Spoon who both didn't play very long). But the show stealer for me without a doubt was:
Mission of Burma
I've always liked their albums, but they blew every other act away live. One of, if not THE best rock performances I've ever seen.
Stayed at Curt's appartment and did the whole downtown thing which was pretty nice, Chicago is a cool city.
