Valentines Day 5k!
Yes, I did it! Yesterday and it was really pretty good. I was very lucky to have to friends from church come and join me, Britta and Katherine! That was fun. Katherine's husband was out of town, but mine and Britta's both came to cheer us on, plus Joe's mom! The weather was great. A little chilly at the beginning, but once we got going it was good. There were a few little hills and the last one was a long climb and I walked part way up it,, but I caught up with the girls when going down the hill. We all made really good time, (with us all sprinting at our own pace at the end). I finished in 32:30 about and the girls came in with in a minute of me. We had a good time and I'll be doing the 100% Irish for a Day 5k on March 16 for anyone who wants to join me in the next one. And, oh, we got really cool t-shirts.
