Two Small Updates

1.) I have not consumed a single meat product since the beginning of May and I have never felt better. I am sticking to Vegetarianism forever. My body feels extremely balanced,and even my PMS (though still bad) has me a little more in control. I am really enjoying the foods too! It is such a fun challenge to figure out new meals. I have experimented with lots of summer sandwiches and salads, and my next goal is to cook with Quinoa ( which I recently tried at a restaurant down here- 1 Fresh Styr-Fry and fell in LOVE).

2.) I had a fantastic time in Poland. After a little take off mishap, we ended up spending a few hours in Paris, France too! We did not have enough time to see exactly what we wanted, but had enough time to check out the famous arches and eat breakfast at a Parisian cafe. I had espresso and a fresh baguette with Nutella and Apricot jam.  While in Poland we explored the city of Szcezin, had lots of rehersals, ate a lot of new foods, had the BEST BEST BEST coffee of my entire life ( I am depressed everytime I drink it now), and met a lot of awesome people. We also took a side trip to play a concert by the Baltic Sea. The sea itself, while very windy, is beautiful.  Lastly, the other students there introduced us to the Polish drinking tradition of eating pickled herring after taking a shot of straight vodka.  It was surprisingly a great combination.
