I heart double reed instruments :D
Whoa, this week was fun, but busy. I went to an oboe symposium and it was awesome! I learned how to make reeds and I got to play cool oboe repertoire. The best, I got to play an english horn! Those are awesome!!! I want one. Really, really want one. We played some awesome trios from Beethoven for two oboes and an english horn and it was SOO much fun. The downer for this week: I missed "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" with my mom, her friend, her granddaughter and my sisters. Argh. I really wanted to see that. Oh well.
Okay, tomorrow I'm off to UF for a journalism workshop. That should be interesting. I don't think I can hang out with you guys on Sunday Amanda. I think my dad and sisters would freak out. I can hear the complaints now... Maybe sometime later next week?
