Sometimes I really feel it's a pain to update livejournal. This is one of those times. I don't know why, but I feel obligated to write in it every so often, even if I'm not in the mood. But, since I am somewhat obsessive compulsive, here goes.
The past few days have actually been quite wonderful. Last week I moved into our new apartment in LA, and it's great. I, however, did not stay because Ryan came back from Cairo the same night. I came back to Hemet with my dad and my brother and have been here since. In that time I have gone to Claim Jumper (some of the best food) and done a whole bunch of other things. I've seen Tesera and Paul on a couple of occasions. Last night my brother, Tesera, and I went to see "The Terminal." I thought it was an interesting plot...maybe not one I'd go see again, but enjoyable enough. Frank drove out from LA and met us at Denny's in Hemet at 12:30. Of course, we had to run into Hemet peeps as always. This time it was Shannon Farmer. Random. Then Frank came back to our house to spend the night.
As today is Father's Day, Ryan and I took my dad to Acapulco for lunch. Then it was back to his place to watch "50 First Dates;" it's a fun movie, even though I hate Drew Barrymore. Later in the evening we had dinner and played Jeopardy. I beat my dad, and then Ryan beat my dad. Maybe it was on account of my dad's beers and cigar.
Other random good news: I found out my grades for the spring quarter. I got A's in Chambers, Keyboarding, and Jazz Piano. I got an A+ in Music Composition. W00t. And I got a B+ in Musicianship. So I feel I rocked this quarter, and that should look good on my transcript that I'm about to send away.
This is my last night in Hemet. Last night sleeping on the floor because my bed and mattress are in LA. Thank God. Tomorrow Frank is coming to help me move the last of my stuff. I need a job. Soon.
I'm headed off to think about getting ready for bed. Goodnight.
