Sun God
Alright, so it's been awhile. That's because not much of consequence has occured in the past two weeks, except for yesterday. Yesterday was UCSD's Sun God Festival. It was and always is the biggest event on campus. Let me sum it up: public drunkeness, vendors, concert, public drunkeness, carnival, mary j, crowds, public drunkeness. So yeah, it's pretty much the only social day at UCSD when everyone gets drunk and half the student population is on campus, outdoors. So you would think I would join in the revelry. But no, I had to be a responsible young adult and work last night at 5:30. When I got back, everyone was either at the concert, passed out, being taken away by ambulances, being taken to detox, or having sex. It was great. Today it's so quiet, probably stemming from the hangover portion.
I got my paycheck the other day. I was blown away by it because it was much larger than I had anticipated. But I'm saving it all up to move into a new apartment with Jessi and Frank in June. (Yes, I prefer 'Jessi and Frank' to 'JessiFrank' because they are SEPARATE ENTITIES.)
So what else is new? Not much. Two more weeks left of class. Luke is coming down to visit on Thursday, so that ought to be fun.
I hope it won't be another two weeks until something interesting happens to me again.
