I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrated! I am exhausted after work last night, but still desperately trying to finish the thank-you notes to the clergy for the wedding. Dave and I have saved up a special gift for the church, and I wanted to have all the thank-you letters written and ready so that we could hand them out with teh gift.

Yesterday every CD of photos I wanted to burn would fail on my PC AND my laptop. It didn't seem to matter which type of CD I used, or how I tried to burn it. When I finally got one to burn AND play, i saw that I wrote "for church people" all over the "folder" which was tacky so now I have to start over!! I printed photos for them and also want to give them some professional photos of themselves and the church so they can use them in the future. Drama.

A few weeks ago I specifically went out and bought a brown marker so that I could write out the thank-yous in ink within the color scheme (rather than black). At some point in the more recent past I came across the bag that had the marker and some stamps I bought in it. Now I can't find it. Not in the bins in the basement, not in any of the rooms of the apartment........ I've been looking for the bag but now I"m wondering if I was in fact "smart enough" to have pulled the marker out and put it in a "safe" place so I could find it. Now it's lost.

I also have a bronze wax sealant and stamp that I'd wanted to use to seal the thank-yous, but I realize that's lost somewhere, too!

This is a huge part of why they are taking so long. I'm obviously trying to do too much at once (hand-written note on formal stationary, printed photos, photo cd, brown ink, stamp, and most of all the check!!!). But I feel like these thank yous are GENUINE and I want to show that by putting forth effort. But effort takes time. And since time has flown by I feel like it's even MORE important to make up for how long it's taken by doing things right.

Church starts at 11. It's blowing snow everywhere in the city. We'd have to leave by 10:15. Clock's ticking...... what do I do?
