this is why I'm busy
This is why I'm busy. This is why invitations got out late and why I'm still scrambling to get so much done in these last two weeks!!!!
Last night I spent the night bringing Elbie to the emergency vet. Its a long story which I will explain later but I thought he was going to be put to sleep...... and it sucked 300 dollars out of the wedding fund and guess how many THOUSANDS of dollars are due this and next week?! Rediculous.
Today I have to go in for a 12 hour night shift and be prepared to get mandated for up to 16 hours-- but I won' t know until 7 am when I'm trying to go home. I could refuse- seeing as I have ample excuse, but then I risk suspension which could mean drama around wedding time which is already stressful enough. Then I have to go back AGAIN tomorrow night at 7 for another possible 16 hour shift.
There were two accidents outside my house within the last hour, and sirens and traffic and construction are non-stop. My street was even mentioned once AGAIN on the news for being the worst construction backup!!!! So much for getting anywhere on time today.....
I have to leave in a minute to meet with the Banquet hall. I have to give them a huge check and finalize how I want things arranged and decorated, the final menu, etc. That's at 5 in Lackawanna and I have to work at 7 in Buffalo. This makes me expect a shitty rush to work today. That usually means anxiety attack at the desk once I get there, which I love doing in front of the whole staff.
Alright I'd better go. Just thought I'd give you all a taste!!
PS My Dad just read me the late RSVPs that are waiting at their house for meto put into the guest list, which I'm doing on the internet. So I enter everyone, which wasted ten minutes, then that website stalled out on me and I lost everything I added. Great.
Wedding count so far: 249 and we are still missing about 30 responses.....
