I had my lesson with Mrs. Stiner yesterday...
the first half really sucked. She was very agitated because she is afraid that my minor scales aren't going to be up to speed by the time of the audition...
The climax of the lesson occurred when she found out that I still have two minor scales to learn... ouch.
however, regardless, the scales are coming along... it's kind of amazing because now that i started my minors, I can tear through my majors with impressive speed =)
The piece was pretty good... she's happy with it. Phew. One less thing she has to be up my ass about.
So, it turns out I might actually be ready for this audition. Yay.
