seem to be doing a lot of this...

i briefly wrote on this a few days ago... but this is a lil' more in depth.

So chew on this theological hypothesis...

there are two perspectives/lens one can use to view a situation. God's perspective, and Man's perspective. Now these two perspectives are at times completely different. Let's take for instance a difficult choice.

A human's perspective on the choice would tell you... think long and hard about the situation, you want to make the right decision.

God's perspective on the situation would say, it doesn't matter. Flip a coin if you want. All things will work for the good of those that love God and are called according to His purpose. Which basically means, that if you believe in the Christian God and Jesus, then God will take your choices and make them work for the good. (not bad... GOOD) So... the choice doesn't matter... either way will be good. If you are in God's hand.

::important::
Keep in mind it is possible to make sinful decisions. Although God will make them good, through scripture we see that sinful decisions also require consequences. So, if you want to make a decision that will work for good, be a christian (ha ha.. hopefully that is not your only motive to follow christ), if you want to make a decision that will work for good, and not suffer consequences, be a christian and don't make a sinful decision.

I suppose the next question is... what is a sinful decision? I would answer by simply saying, a sinful decision is one that does not glorify God. If you can glorify God with your decision, then (in my opinion) there is no way it is sinful. It just seems wrong to say that Glorifying God can be sinful...

So I guess it seems obvious... God's perspective is so freakin' easy... let's take that and become empathetic with our choices, making sure that they are God glorifying.

Well... that is true, yet... God created humans with human perspectives. It is important to understand that even if we think we have screwed up a decision by our perspective... it is still ok in His. BUT we are stuck here for awhile as humans so we should live as humans... and that involves emotions within decisions... following you heart, not empathatic decisions. It like Carlie said.. the movies are real... and they are ALWAYS based on human perspectivs... but it is beneficial to consider God's perspective too...

So... now it is my chance... I've been obsessed with theology for way too long. I've known my future is set and God blessed, but I forgot to feel... It's like Garden State, when that dude's been hocked up on drugs that life is just this blur that he's living through... then he stops taking them and he begins to feel. He sheds a tear. I want to cry. I want to love. I want to be human, and know that God is watching me, holding me, and taking care of me. Here I go God I'm about to live... and I think it's going to hurt.
