They got me...again
Well today is the only day I have off during the week, and yes I do have to work tomorrow even though it is a holliday (presidents day) and even though I don't like the job I have to pay my rent somehow. But I am getting sidetracked. Early in my day I spent watching Childs Play and having some coffee, surfing the net, the normal things one does on a day off. Later in the afternoon I took scott and guinn to the store so they could do their shopping and then it was back to their house to watch SAW II. Now I am leaving out a bunch of crap that happened between the time I left my apartment to the time I got to scott's house. You know how it is when someone in your family is just so damn annoying and they always think that everyone is talking about them behind their back, well my mother is just such a person. So I went out to get some gas for my car and when I got home there she was talking with Jim and trying to start a fire in my fireplace. That started all of us talking about this and that and that ended up on the "discussion" that scott had decided to host after jims last visit to jail. You should note that this particular subject is a very touchy one round here and when brought up is the delight of anyone to sit in on.
Anyway my day off was going just fine and then I was off to scotts to go shopping. When we finished with that we were treated to watching SAW II. Now I had seen the first one and was quite pleased, pleased enough that I had to purchase it. I was not looking forward to seeing this movie because I felt there was no way that they could have done a better job with another movie of the same genere. Well I am here to say that for the most part I was not very pleased with the movie as it was going along, what hooked me was the ending. And not just the ending but everything about the ending. I have seen so many horror and thriller movies in my time that I can point out with near perfect accuracy what is about to happen before it does, scott is the same way but when it came to the end of this movie the bastards did it once again. We didn't see that ending coming at all. Now if you have not seen this movie I will not spoil it for you but I will say that you should see it.
Anyway I decided to end my day by going home and relaxing to a nice warm cup of coffee. Tomorrow I have to go back to my horrible telemarketing job. But I can say that today was a very very fun day for me and I hope that tomorrow will not be as horrible as I am thinking it will be.
