NYYouth was soooo boring...
So this week was pretty cool. I went through like a million program changes I never ask for and I have been through Three Friggin English teachers and Two Music History Teachers which sucks! But everything should be ok now..I hope..I taught on Tuesday and that was good..Iso was ok also! Kinda boring..
In other news this Friday I totally told school to kiss my ass cause I did not go
Instead I took the train up to Nate's house really early and chilled there the whole day with Dave, Mikey, Nate and his famz. We had mad fun. We went to pick Mikey up at school and I got a tour of the school from the outside by Nate since he did go there last year.. and we went to the Mall while Dave had an interview. We had a good breakfast and lunch. Then we went to White Plains and dropped Mike and Dav off to wonder around while me and Nate went to the Phill Smith Master class.
Phill Smith was amazing! He talked to us when we got out of the car! I was freaking out! He started off by playing and then these two students played for him. He also played Mahler 5 for us and I died cause it was so good!!Perfect! I got so much out of the master class and I had no Idea he was that funny. Like he was friggin Hillarious!
Then after that me and Nate ended up getting lost in White Plains and Mikey and Dave was standing outside in the cold for a while but it was all good. We drove one of Dave's friend's to the 207 st 1 and 9 train station. The we hauled ass down to 24th St. Nate was a little late so he ran and me Dave and Mikey went to go meet up with there parents at Cosi (it's an ok resturaunt) and had some food before hand. Then we all went to Best Buy to just look around and kill time since Nate's Band hadn't gone up yet. Then we got to the club The Cutting Room and it was packed! But we managed to getin and me and Dave got seats in the front and the Element went onstage to perform. They were amazing! All the vocalist that performed with them and the charts they played which was sick! And Nate has some kick ass solos so im proud of that kid cause he amazes me all the time he plays and everytime it just keeps getting better and better. The crowd was awesome to. Everyone dancing and singing and having a really good time. It was great I wont miss any of his Bands concerts for the world cause there awesome to go to. I had a blast.
Then me Nate and Katie (A girl who works with Nate at Lacomb Music School who came to the concert that night) headed for the car which was on 8th Ave. Then we all drove up to my house so they could drop me off and we all got to just chat and get to know each other and Katie is a really cool girl. She plays clarinet and stuff. And then Nate drove her home in Bedford Hills which is close to him like about 20 minutes away from him I guess..or maybe 15 I think..I didnt get home till 1 am so I was exhausted! But it was all worth it!
Saturday was cool. We played on Tiff's recital and it went well actually. In rehearsal we got through Contra 1 and 3 in a breeze without bleeding..haha. West Side is comin along and I hope everything is good for the concert which is coming up in two weeks!! Im pumping myself up for that! Afterwards I went straight home..And went to bed.
Today me and Nate taught at 12 and had a blast. I heard Nate do this really cool duet with his student which was really cute and I think there gonna play it for us next week!!I cant wait! There mom gave us chocolate for Valentine's Day which was cool! Then we left to go to rehearsal. We got there late cause there was mad traffic!!But we made it there and our sectional choach was a Bass Trombone player in Nate's dad's Orchestra in Weschester so it was cool. He was really good and I had fun. Rehearsal was so friggin long though but me and Alicia and Isabel and Nate and Hana went to the deli for food and had some fun so it was all good. Then after rehearsal was over I hauled ass so make it back home in time for Charmed! I cant miss that show. I walked my dog after that and then called Ron A Pom Pom and then Nate Dawgz afterwards..So now Im gonna hit the sack so more updates later! Ciao
PS: Katie Im done!!Hahaha..And today I told Nate something that I have never told anyone else which I found really cool. It was nice to tell someone about my family issues and everything I went through from a child to now even and I feel like I can tell him anything cause he is like my brother and I feel really close enough to tell him that. Yet he was fallin asleep cause rehearsal got to him also..finally caught up with him..hehe..
