This weekend was cool. On Friday was our first chorus concert of the holidays. Afterwards, we went out to Applebees. It was SOOO much fun. lol We were supposed to go to Chili's (b/c they had orange soda, go figure, Randy lol) but the wait was too long, so we went to Applebees. It didn't seem like NE1 else was too dissappointed with the waiters at the other tables tho...lol, I didn't even think he was cute at all! Omg...the waiter we had was sooo freakin full of hiself, it made me sick! I was like...hello...ur not ever hott at all! And he's like sliding things across the table and stuff and saying "wow...that was smooth" I felt like gagging. lol Emily was wearing Randy's bowtie like the whole time...and Diana and I were discussing her love life. lol...deer. It was a blast!
Well, Saturday we had our concert and Westminister and I sang my solo for the first time...it went okay...I rushed the interludes a bit...but it was okay. I remembered my intro though, which I was afriad I wouldn't. AHH!!! Tomorrow's the in-school, and I have to sing for the whole school. I'm SOO nervous...last time I sang for the entire school it was a COMPLETE disaster. People from middle school STILL think I suck at singing. :-/ I hope it goes well.
And, Sunday Shauna and I sang at the Crane Lakes ladies gathering. That was fun...we were a bit unprepared, but it went a lot better than I thought it would. We did the 12 days of Christmas at the end, and they loved that, so it was all good.
These are the verses God has sent me lately:
Psalm 27:1
"The Lord is my light and m salvation--whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?"
Psalm 27:5
"For the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock."
Psalm 27:14
"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."
Revelation 22:21
"The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people, Amen."
:-) I love reading my Bible. It's like, when you're having a bad day and you tell your friend and she has a cute saying that describes exactly how you feel. I just go home, and turn my Bible to a page...and God knows what I need to hear and it always makes me feel better :-D!
