Well, well, well... greetings from Peoria, IL everyone!!! I just got my internet working in my room even though it took like two hours to figure out cuz the people didn't seem to understand they should just walk us through it cuz we are retarded...
Where to begin??? Moved into my dorm yesterday, my roommate seems pretty nice, although it's funny to see how different we are. Her desk is covered in school supplies and school books, mine is covered in picture frames, stuffed animals, and crazy knick-knacks I've accumulated through the years... lol. Haven't really met too many people yet, but no worries, I'm sure I will once classes start on Wednesday.
Started my new job at 6:30 this morning, seems ok... the people are nice but it's just as boring as it was at home so I'll be looking for a new job soon. Though they told me they aren't gonna pay me much less than I was making back home, even though my position now is below what I was... pretty awesome...
Alright, I guess I'm done...
Oh wait!! I almost forgot!! I asked the RA if there were any dance clubs here and she said the only one was a country line dance club!!!! How can you have a city this huge and not have a club?!?!? Guess that's why fraternities and sororities are so huge, they need somewhere to party...
