ebgames and PS1 games

As I was picking up my Phoenix Wright: Justice For All preorder, I looked through the rack of ps1 games they had and called Dre for some advice.

Apparently, ebgames and gamestop have stopped carrying console games that are older than ps2, and that I was lucky that mine still did (they even have N64 games, although I never owned one). The stores still carry GB games though.

I found an RPG called Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, which Chris recommended and Saiyuki: Journey to the West (a tactical RPG which has nothing to do with the Saiyuki manga or anime. Apparently both this game and aforementioned manga are based of the same old Chinese legend).

I started Persona 2 tonight and you play as the female main character Maya Amano, who works at a publishing company and ends up covering the story of a serial killer. That's all I know for now since I've only played it a few minutes. There's also an anime based on this game.

Dre, you may also interested to know that the Persona series is a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series.

This copy is cherry. I mean the label says used, but the disks have absolutely no blemishes and the booklet is spotless as well. The game was released in America in December of 2000 and turns out, Atlas found some more warehoused, which explain the recent popping up of good condition copies. (my eb had 3) It's still very hard to find, since there haven't been any actual reprints.
