FTF, ahhh dammit & weekend
Ok, well the magazine feeding problem is worse now. How, I have no idea. Also, the winchester white box ammo I usually use is getting stuck on the feed ramp. That's never happened before. The Federal Hydra-Shok's fed ok, except for one round that after getting suck on the feed ramp, it pushed the slug back into the cartridge...ewww, that would have been a really hot round lol. I think that might be a side effect of the mag problem.
I tried fixing one of my mags using a rattail file, but I think I made it worse instead of better. D'oh!
In each mag fired I had probably 5 failure to feeds and a couple failures to eject. That's simply unacceptable. I read on CZ's forums that other owners of the CZ 75 compact in .40s&w had a similar problem. After contacting CZ USA's rep and gunsmith, they sent them 2 new magazines ad that solved the problem.
I should probably drop 'em a line.
Now for the cool stuff.
Me and Megan are going to go camping this weekend at Umpstead Park. Her roommate is staying at State, so that's part of it, and I can't afford a hotel lol. But seriously, we've been wanting to go camping, just haven't had the chance yet.
