guess what today is. it is my half birthday. that means six months until my birthday for those of you who do not know what a half birthday is. I don't see why you wouldn't know, but if you don't you should, because they're good things to know about. for instance...my half birthday is very important to me because it means i am officially late on getting my permit. i did not follow through with my new years resolution. (yes...i said i would get it at the end of february, but then at the end of february i realized....september is the 9th month and 9-2=7 not 6. and i'm going for 6. so that means that i could wait until the end of march. and that's today. and i still haven't gotten my permit.) i figure i'll go to the place on wednesday of next week. that way i'll only have been a few days late. 6 to be exact. i wish i hadn't procrastinated so much...darn.
anyways..YAY for MaRgarEt DaY!!!! she won that little congress-bundestag thingy and she's going to be a foreign exchange student in germany next year! how awesome is that?! sehr awesome.
also, we have a guard competition this weekend. it's at chattanooga. (is that how you spell chattanooga???) good luck to the guardlings.
in other news, i really really want to make a schwarzwalder kirschtorte. it sounds like fun. and its good too so after i make it i get to eat it and that's good.
