Waiting for the next wave.

The gig went well tonight. I got there at 4:30 to set up, but I forgot that I had left the Firewire card back in my office, so I had to hit the freeway and go back for it. A half hour before we started, I finally got the Firewire 410 going with the MIDI footpedal. And it all went off without a hitch. I’ve got to unload the kit tomorrow, yay. I like this little kit that we bought for mission trips. it’s small, but has great tone. Wish I had my own kit though.

Well, after about 5 hours of work, I was able to pull my all critical Samples folder off of the drive with the messed up partition. I’m going to try to pull the rest of it, but I was having issues with it this afternoon. I think i’ll go raid the production closet for DVD’s and start backing up tomorrow.

Now that this show is over, I feel really relieved that I don’t have to work on anything for a bit. The band is going to try to do dinner this friday to talk about where to head with it. i figure that we can line up enough shows and borrow enough gear to start getting paying gigs and start buying some gear of our own. Making some cash on the side would be fun, but I’d definitely settle for enough to buy gear.

I saw this place in town that sells your stuff on eBay. I’ve got a bunch of semi useful stuff that I’d like to get rid of, I think i’ll stop by and see how much they gouge you. I could sure use the money for the mission trip.
