Round #44 - Info + Themes
» All icons must be made specifically for this community, each round you decide to participate in. No prior work can be submitted.
» All work must be your own, not someone else's.
» All images must be PG RATED. Meaning no depiction of violence or either genders 'bits' visible. If you're unsure, just ask.
» They must fit the livejournal standard. (under 40kb, 100x100px and either .png, .gif or .jpg file format)
» You can either link us to your icon journal giving 3 examples, not just banners link to your icon post or you can post them here under a cut, still giving 3 examples before it.
» Post the completed icons at once and link directly to the set.
» Icons however can be posted before voting goes up. Once you've signed up to enter the challenge you will be given moderated posting access which means a mod must approve the post before it can be viewed.
» Don't submit your icons to this post.
» ALL entries are moderated which means that we have to accept the entry before it's made visible to the public.
» Please, if you participate try to check out the other participants entries. (another reason why there's an unlocked rule.) You want people to check out yours and vice versa, it's fair game.
» You can use the provided table, but you can use your own as well. But keep the themes in the right order!
» When posting your icons to the community, please ensure you put Round 44: "your artist" as the subject.
» Please add your own tags, and do it using the following format exactly:

» If you'd like a participation banner, note it in your post. If you do not tell me you want a participation banner, you won't receive one.
» Deadline is December 11th, Midnight @ your timezone.
10 Themes:
01.) Light
Make an icon that is mainly light colors (i.e. white, light peach, light yellow, light grey, etc.)
02.) Close Crop
This icon should be of your musician/band very close up, mostly on their face.
03.) First Hit Song
Icon your musician/band using their first hit song. This could be pictures from the music video for this song, lyrics from that song, whatever you can think of that has to do with their first hit song.
04.) Frame
Use a frame for this icon.
05.) Deco Accent
For this icon, use a deco accent/symbol texture (crown, cross, whatever else you can think of/find to use for this).
06.) Holiday
Icon your musician/band in the holiday spirit. You don't necessarily have to do winter holidays, you could do Valentine's Day, 4th of July, Halloween, whatever other holiday you can find to use for this, since I know that the winter holidays won't apply for everybody.
07.) Name
Simple enough, just use your musician/band's name in this icon.
08.) Hair Accessory
Icon your musician/band wearing some sort of hair accessory. This could be a headband, hat, anything else really.
09.) Geometric
Use different shapes for this icon. Triangles, squares, anything that can be considered a geometric shape. You can do this in the background of your icon, a texture overlay, etc.
10.) Prop
Icon your musician/band with a prop.
5 Category: Same Picture
For this category, simply icon your musician/band by using only one picture. There are a lot of ways to make these icons different - cropping, text, textures, anything else that you can think of. Get creative with this one!
5 Artist’s Choice:
make 5 icons of your artist/band as you wish.
