some elderly people are so nice.
I have this AP Psychology project due tomorrow (ok.. yeah i shouldnt procrastinate)and im supposed to interview 4 different ages (teen, young adult, middle age adult, and elderly adult) and analyze their responses regarding developmental psychology and stuff. I was freaking out earlier today because my dad's patient's husband wasnt there to fill out my interview and i didnt know anyone else (living in the us) who was +65 that i could interview.. so my dad went to his office and jotted down a few numbers of some patients and he told me to interview a man who seemed pretty 'lively'.
He is honestly one of the sweetest old people that i've ever talked to. He's freaking 72 and sounds like he's 30 something. he actually kind of reminds me of morgan freeman for some reason.. but yeah he was so wise and enlightening and he was an excellent person to interview. sorry i just cant get over how nice he was. and its sad because in respose to my question regarding what his most meaningful memory was, he said all of his memories with his children because he cherished his children so much and he lost both of them; My dad didnt even know that. I actually started to cry after i got off the phone with him. Hes been through a lot and he still manages to stay sweet. i hope i can grow old with someone like that.
...dont laugh at me- i was just really emotional!
