Time to do something something good for myself

I can't just sit around like this
I've got to pick myself off the ground
and stop complaining about things i can do on my own
I just figured that if i had company there would be motivation
I would be motivated and willing to learn
but i'm just lazy and selfish
and i'm wasting time
I understand everyone has there own lives
I just need to make something of mine
I need to get out of this rut
and be passionate instead of impassive
and exceptional instead of average

Sometimes i have those rare feelings of determination
and its what i need more than ever

I'm going to make music.
