oh c a n a d a
today was lovely. it seems like I did a lot, which is a good thing.
I went with my mum to Target early afternoon...fun as always. I got some yummy lip gloss and some new eyeliner. weee. When I came home I went with Jen to the mall so she could look for a bathing suit. She found one, and I found me some cute shirts that were 30% off at Marshall Field's. =D
When we came home I did some stuff online, including helped someone I met on the kurt_halsey community with their layout. yay. Then I got ready...
...and Jen and I made our way to the Canadian border! We ate dinner at a restaurant called The Beach, it was cuute. We had really good food, and we each had a Cosmopolitan. I felt all Sex & The City-like. I also had a drink called Death By Chocolate, and while it really wasn't that chocolatey, it was still yum. We got there before the cover charge too which was niiice, and we got to sit outside since it was such a lovely evening. Even though our table was crap. haha.
On the way back to the border we stopped and got our currency exchanged again, and we got some stuff from the duty-free store. I got this adorable stuffed puppy [if you know me at all, you know I can't resist something soft and cuddly] and some candy, and some Canadian maple syrup for my parents. hahaha.
It was just really nice going somewhere different, out of the country, and without a bunch of PG-13 teeny-boppers all over the place.
