Alright, so Friday and Saturday were by far two of the most rollercoaster-like days I've had in a while, so here's a quick recap of what happened to me on my wild ride:
Friday:
-School- somewhat normal, til lunch came around. I'll save you the long blah story and cut it that i drenched Celina and cut Amanda's lip. all on accident of course, i'm not that mean.
-Hockey Game- Started out with Amanda, michelle, and I fighting about where to sit (mainly me fighting, i think they just didn't feel like fightin back). We finally ended up in a handicapped section next to the main section tht our school had occupied. The entire place was packed, and one we had gotten tired of standing there was no place to go. Joining us at that time was Megan, Missy, Kayla, Jill, Celina, Amanda N, and Amanda's sister. So our section is packed, and the police and fair workers kept freaking out on us and the other people in our section for blocking out the pathway. Well, things got worse when a guy with a broken ankle decides to sit in the section, so we get comressed together because we're supposed to give him space for him and his friend to sit. Celina, Kayla, and I also had trouble with this ass guy who was yelling at us for blocking his view or some crazy thing like that, so once again we were all compressed into this tiny section. We also had a group of wild guys from the other team come to our side and start taunting us (supposedly they were also drunk). Well, some other stuff happens and a guy behind us has to call security to help us out. With us being crabby enough about that, we lost the game. Which means the end of the season. Which really sucks. It was also Weston's birthday, so it must have hit him a bit harder. It's too badwe couldn't have gone farther and given the Seniors a year to remember.
-Saturday- Michelle sleeps over and we get up early to get ready for the Jesse concert. She's still pretty upset about last night, and really can't seem to get over the loss, which created stress on an already stressful weekend. We shower and get pretty and whatnot and head out round 9:40 am. We get there at about 10:15 and the line to get in was already extremely long, with people who came as early as midnight (two of them being girls I knew from school). Two other girls were not far behind them, with them coming at 9:30 (apparently the line just exploded after they got there.. to bad we didn't come that early). We were dead center in the crowd once let in. With Michelle and I being so short, we can't see crap, and ave to keep junping up to attempt on seeing anything. The concert soon starts, only to our amazement as being beyond short. Sorry, but 5 songs for the 13.75 I paid is just not worth it. I was pretty pissed about that. It wasn't really much of a show. I could have just grabbed my cd player and had the same effect. I think it worsend mattitude that I could barely see at all. I maybe actually saw jesse's face about 10 times, most of that being through the eye of the camera as I try to salvage every moment possible. Don't get me wrong, I totally love Jesse, i have for what, like 4 years? It's just that I sometimes wish he would have come here just once before all his fame, so I could have maybe met him. There was no signing, just for the KDWB winners, which as I would see them check in seemed to be mainly 7 year olds with their mothers. Couldn't they have done some general thing? He hasn't been in Minnesota for 3 years (Feb. 10, 2002), with the last signing in the state being earlier than that (August 2001, i believe). Maybe i've just been too spoiled with the Greg, Chris, Play, Stevie, Jump5, and J-me experiences I've had. I was left from the Jesse concert feeling betrayed. Betrayed by the Jesse experiences I had read before Summerland and before the CD. Where he would just sit and sign for these diehard fans, and how they all loved him. Am I being selfish? Am I asking for too much?
