My reading list grew IMMENSELY! I love my job!!! It brings me books that TSU doesn't have!
- Samurai Widow by Judith Jacklin, along with Blues Brothers: Private; Titters 101: An Introduction to Women's Literature; and The Best of Friends by David Michaelis. I saw an episode of Biography on John Belushi...and it was so interesting that I decided to look into some books about him/his characters. The book Titters is one that his wife collaborated on with some other writers.
- I am still trying to read through SNL's Uncensored History. What a long, strange trip that show has been!
- Easy Riders, Raging Bulls is still sitting at my bedside table, along with Dave Barry's Complete Guide to Guys & The Collected Works of Edna St. Vincent Millay.
- I need to return Erika's book, What Catholics Really Believe.
So, that looks like a tally of...9 books on my summer reading list that I have started in some form or fashion. Geez! Talk about re-connecting to an old hobby!!!
Mica made a funny, and I laughed.
"Cubic zirconium is the drag queen of the jewelry world." That is priceless!
I kicked that final's butt!!!
No more Advanced Grammar!!!! I even attempted Dodson's long-ass bonus question...and I diagrammed it right! Go Me!
I heart Comedy Central!!!
Have I told you that I love Stella, and that I laugh like a six yr. old who has just discovered the world's best joke when I watch it? For the third time? Hey...it could be worse, guys and gals...I could be watching Dawson's Creek, ha-ha!!!! So, take your pick...I am still going to watch it.
Jeffery is okay!
Like some of you, Jeffery sent me a letter! It was great hearing from the Watson...I am a little less worried about him now. I firmly plan on keeping up my correspondence with him. He said (at the time, I guess) that things were so slow that he would have given anything "for a fast-paced tech. weekend!" How awesome is that?!
Hanging with the family on Monday!!!
Only four days until Tuesday's 1st birthday party!!! Can't wait!!!
Well, I must go and celebrate the end of my only summer class! Have a lovely day!!!
PS...James? I send you mucho hugs and snuggles and kisses on the cheek. You are just a doll, and if I could make bad things go away...I would...just for you!!! Mwah!
