Extensive AC/DC tour to begin in October
As expected, AC/DC will embark on an 18-month world tour beginning this October in Wilkes Barre, Pa. Creative Artists Agency managing partner Rob Light confirmed the news during a touring panel today (July 28) at the 83rd annual IAAM conference and trade show in Anaheim, Calif.
The tour is slated to start on Halloween, they said. OMG, I can't stand it!!! asdjklghlskdjflksdjhglkd!!! *flails more*
But the new album is only going to be sold at WalMart? WTF?! I am very torn about this. I freaking HATE WalMart and I avoid buying things there if I can help it (although I have actually found things made in the USA there!) Maybe I'll request the library to get it so I don't have to buy it there. Bwahahaha. I'll still be giving them my money by buying a concert ticket. Bloody fair deal, don't you think??
OK, on to other things. Last night's circus concert was a lot of laughs. A couple of band people won things from the quilt raffle. Someone gave Glen a very phallic-looking "baton" made from a balloon. marvelouspatric was putting clothes pins in his hair afterward. XD And Mikayla, our alto clarinet player, had forgotten to bring a stand so I let her use the folding one I still had in my car; it was funny explaining to everyone where I got my "new" stand. XD Good times.
