even more game-breaking bullshit
Well I finally found something that made Hadvar mad: I started a new save with the civil war alternate start, used the console to give me Dawnbreaker and then tried to reverse-pickpocket it to him and failed. 😆 (I got it to work once but I didn't save that one as I was trying to do something else.) Console commands don't always hold from one cell to the next but if I add it to my inventory first and then give it to someone else it works, so that's why I tried the reverse-pickpocket method. Then I did do the direct additem console command, but it broke and nobody would move past the first door inside Korvunjuund. So then I reloaded back at Solitude, tried to use the console to give me more gold, but it didn't work either. 😆 So I started a new save YET AGAIN, this time without Dawnbreaker or fucking with console commands too much.
I found another mod that makes Hadvar a follower, but you have to do the civil war first; I want to see how he behaves with that one first before I go fucking with more stuff, so that's why the civil war start. Apparently you can beat him up all day and he doesn't care (I would never!), but pickpocketing is where he draws the line. 😆
I still can't get the thief encounter thing to work right, and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. IDK if I have to compile scripts, do something with dialogue views or what and I can't seem to find an answer. Arrrghh. *rips hair out* I guess if what I'm trying to do was easy someone would have done it by now. I mean I wrote a script and dialogue, so it's a matter of figuring out how to actually put it into my game.
I WILL figure this shit out if it kills me.
