Well it looks like OCAD is going to make me jump through a couple of hoops in order to exempt myself from their mandatory liberal arts courses. A few weeks ago it was brought to my attention that even though I was awarded advanced standing into their second year I still need to go through the separate process of gaining exemption from their first

I encountered something pretty similar when I was transferring between universities. I just pulled the course description from the current academic calendar, muttered to myself "It'll have to do", and sent it off. Your mileage may vary, but I got my transfer credits with no complaints.

Thanks for the tip. I thought that all the course descriptions I faxed over would suffice, so I was really surprised when they pulled a round two on me. I'm going to have to talk to someone about all this.
