LEVERAGE!
(I don't consider this a spoiler because it's a downtime candid shot by Parker's actress.)
Ok, so I'm so so on the opening titles. I liked Nate walking out of the insurance agency he almost went to work for. I thought the Cadillac flipping over Nate was a bit too much. I liked them all meeting at Sophie's play. WHO in the their right minds would cast and keep her as Maria in the Sound of Music
PARKER AS A NUN! The boys at the table. Sophie in Nate's shirt. Nate trying to kick everyone out, and wee nyn parker sitting next to Eliot, so CUTE!
Eliot (points ar Parker): She's dressed like that for a con.
Nate (something akin to): Yes and why else do you think she'd dress that way?
Eliot (wtf): It's Parker.
Parker and Alec at the bank were adorable and she totally ignored him when he told her he looked for her. Nate running around his condo wearing a towel like a skirt and flannel shirt. And slide sandals. OMG Chris Kane has buffed up. GLUH. I usually like them taller, but, ummm. Yeah. GLUH.
Nate finding his fridge filled with orange soda and saying "SERIOUSLY?!" PRICELESS. Parker calling Nate creepy again, is classic. Parker in shoulder pads, is hilarious. A couch that goes, Sophie, Eliot, Parker? FABULOUS! I have to watch this again and it's not even half over, there are some GREAT lines in here.
Nate (paraphrased to all): I have to go contact a professional hit man and arrange to meet him in a dark, secluded place.
Sophie (to Eliot): See? He did miss us!
Alec trying to convince Eliot that he has detonators in his pants, or whatever, that was brill!
Nate, Sophie and the mob? Back into the groove!
Sober!Nate with wee Zoe in the hospital, was very touching, if predictable.
Setting up the mark and their banker buddy? The banker buddy is the boss and is trying to put Nate in the river. And a whole bunch of thugs behind Eliot? Not good, but Nate set Eliot up as cop bait but now baker is trying to kill Eliot. And three shots sounded like they were fired at Eliot. Two spots blew out of his shirt, but I'm betting putting my money on them being something set up by Alec, FX-wise. If not, Nate is going on notice.
Ah, ok, it was Sophie shooting Eliot. Setting up the mob hit man. I love them. Parker and Alec pulling the "come with us if you want to live"?! Classic! The banker getting caught by the real state police? Fabulous.
I love the reveal with a money-sniffing Parker! Awe, the wee Zoe gave Nate her St Brid medal. Cute. Alec in glass? Hilarious. Sophie turning down Nate for dinner because she has a new boyfriend, unexpected, and I love it. Because a man, in this case Nate, should never assume that a a love interest is going to wait around for him. I'm glad he didn't actually consume that drink.
I love Nate's reaction to everything at the end. First to Alec and the flat screens and buying the building. Second to Parker and that god awful painting (and her response to his reaction). Third to Eliot and his wall destroying chainsaw! In his shoes, I would kill them.
However, HOW MUCH DO I LOVE ELIOT CUTTING THROUGH THE WALL WHILE WEARING THAT HORRIBLE HAT? SO MUCH!
Ummmm, I think I just gut gypt out of my preview for next week. WTF?! TNT YOU ARE ON NOTICE!
