Five Bits About Music and Dance
1. Listened again to Madonna's new album. This time all in one sitting. I have changed my mind. I do not like it as an album. It's disappointingly vapid and immature and I expect better from Madonna at this point in her career.
2. So You Think You Can Dance is on tomorrow! It's the first show of the regular season. GLEE!
3. Thanks to the above program, I've been exposed to way more contemporary style dancing than before. However, I must say that while I can see where it has beauty, it looks ragged, unfinished, petulant, and even, childish. It's like the dance form that never grew up. Sigh.
4. Per the sweet and utterly awesome anomilygrace, there is going to be a Center Stage 2. I'm not yet sure how I feel about this.
5. There is supposedly going to be another season of Project Runway starting up in July. I know exactly how I feel about that. GLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! CANNOT WAIT!
