Review:
Though it started with the first fic, Might I Have A Bit Of Earth (linked in the header of the first chapter), the fic really got good with Apastron. This fic embodies everything I love about space pirate!aus. There's fighting, there's running from the law, but there's still that underlying sense of 'robin hood' almost in that there is an over all conscience in them. The relationship here is almost a type of Bonnie and Clyde deal where they're on the run, working together as a team. They both try and ignore what they REALLY have together, chosing instead to focus on working. There are secrets that blow up in their faces like every good drama, but the final icing on the cake is the major exhibition of exactly how much love there is between them shown by Frank's sacrifice in the end that he makes just in hopes that Gerard can start a new, safer life, even if Frank isn't in it.
The cherry on top of the icing on the cake comes with the dramatic rescue that leaves you biting your nails and gripping the mouse so hard your fingers tremble!
I definately give it a double thumbs up for this fic and hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did!
