Why not?
Since I've been trying to find random things to do at work, why not update on livejournal. Haven't done it for a while, and maybe something interesting will happen. Probably not.
Since work has been somewhat slow recently, I spent a good part of yesterday creating a myspace page. Good for me. I'm friends with my brother now. Although he says he's going to do a facebook as soon as he gets his college email. I also found the theatre I used to work at, and now i'm a member of that group. Crazy.
I've somehow inherited the role of producer for a musical this fall. Originally, I was just going to be in it, but since the director is also finishing her masters project and is going crazy, she has kind of delegated me to produce the show. So i'm applying for the rights and I'm finding the theatre space and I'm organizing the marketing for it. It should be interesting. I'll make everybody I know come.
I've also spent a lot of time in the theatre education program directors office lately trying to find out how to get my masters sooner. We've somewhat come up with a solution that would let me register for a somewhat directed study course in the fall, but for stuff that i'm doing this summer. So it's no more work for me necessarily, but i'll be getting credit for it. So that might help - plus, they're going to let me do a masters thesis from wherever the hell I want to be. I don't necessarily have to be in Boston for it. So if I wanted to go elsewhere and live and work on my masters project, that's totally doable. So I may actually finish courses next August and i'll be done. It's an interesting thought.
