(no subject)
I spent the weekend at Max & Ashley's. Yes, we live in the same town, but I can't stay away! On Saturday we watched movies - Superbad (very funny - loved it, LOVE the main kid who was on Arrested Development) and Chuck & Larry (love the people in it, did not love the movie at all). We started to watch Quinten Tarantino's Death Proof, but I fell asleep about one third of the way into it. Hence how I ended up staying the night at their house - I didn't mean too, but I didn't wake up until the morning on the couch!
We were laughing that it was like camping because their heater went out about a week ago and their house has been FREEZING inside. We had space heaters and electric throw blankets and everything you can think of to keep warm - it's funny watching movies in a beanie and scarf, haha. Luckily the people could finally come out today to replace it because you need a heater for baby!!!
Yesterday I helped them all day by cleaning their entire house and helping put away the last of the gifts for baby. They are basically ready now. Which is good since it can come ANY DAY. I predict sometime between Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 16th - which isn't a stretch since the due date is the 17th. Who knows - we'll see!
Today I'm doing holiday cards and wrapping some gifts and cleaning my own house.
Oh, and in the new year I'm pretty sure I'm switching to Blogger for my online blog - but of course I'll still read LJ.
